Thorough and riveting account of Hamilton's vital life a compelling read
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Not just one of my favorite history books, but one of my favorite books bar none. After reading this thorough account of Hamilton's life, it is obvious to me that he is the most important Founding Father never to become president. A compelling read from his tragic childhood years to his ascension to be George Washington's indispensable right hand man to his self-inflicted undoing. If you know him more for the famous way he died, it's time you found out about the significant way he lived. Highest recommendation.

Fun insight of 1968 World Series
A very honest and personal account of the first game of the 1968 World Series by pitcher Bob Gibson. Not only does he go through every pitch of his record breaking game for strikeouts with uncanny memory, but also offers vast insight into the players from both teams. I enjoyed the fact he doesn't care what people think about his attitude, some might say arrogant, and tells it like it is. I call it just being honest and it's very refreshing. I remember how exciting the seven game series was between the Cardinals and the Tigers when baseball was king. This book brought me right back and I recommend it to any baseball fan.
