A captivating piece
This is a lovely work, ideal for the clarinet, cello and piano trio I have been working with over the last couple of years. A real gem. Discovered it on YouTube, and immediately took to it. We plan to perform it in our summer concert. I've never played anything by Nino Rota before, so it was a delight to come across. Quite hard to find good works originally intended for this combination, other than Beethoven and Brahms. Yes, it's quite expensive, but understandably so for a relatively modern work, and well worth it. Arrived in good condition; very clear print.

How did I ever manage without this?!
Vekkia Royal 29 LED music stand light: this is the best stand light I have seen. We did a concert in a dimly-lit church, and it was the envy of everyone around me. Another player asked me to order one for her. It gives much better light quality to two full pages of music than anything else I have used before - a great advantage not to be squinting at the music! I'm so glad I came across this, recommended by someone else. Its three settings are useful for different light conditions. It's also lightweight, so easy to carry around, and comes with a neat pouch. Rechargeable battery lasts well when I use it at home; for the rehearsal and concert, I didn't want to take any risks, so plugged it into a power pack. Lead could be just an inch or two longer to facilitate this, but it does just about reach if you stand the power pack upright. An excellent purchase - I'm so pleased with it!

Well worth reading!
I'm only half way through, as it's quite a long book, but it's beautifully written, drawing the reader in. Relationships are convincingly portrayed, and I can't wait to find out what happens to the main characters. Recommended by someone at our book club; plenty of positives to discuss at our next meeting!
