Does the job, sort of.
I bought this solely for the purpose of having a mirror for the test examiner as per the requirements of doing the driving test in your own car - and it passed the criteria. That is about all you can say about it. The image is not great but it sticks firmly to the window and swivels a bit so I would have to say that it did the job. I would not use it as a rear view mirror though and it is too big to use to watch the kids in the back. Buying again I would get a smaller one.

Basic case not bump protection
Although not even slightly padded the case if fine as a general dust protector and for occasional use. Protection against knocks and bumps it will not provide however.
