Overall, it's a homerun.
The product is very amazing in that it uses the cell phone as the control device. I use an iPhone 7+ and I find it somewhat quirky in the volume control. If you use the volume control on the side of the phone which the instructions tell you you can it can run away with itself and go to full blast. Needless to say it's hard on ears and especially my dogs. The best way to control the volume is inside the program where the volume is controlled by the device especially for the device.
Also it tends to not send a long enough infrared signal to certain devices under certain circumstances which I can't really comment on why the device will not work. You may have to send the signal more than once.
