Extermely durable shackle, very difficult installation which leaves little room for error.

I recommended it, but only with reservations because of the difficulty installing it. Don't believe the reviews saying it's easy. Read on. The instructions provided and the videos I've seen don't ensure that the bit won't wander and leave the holes out of alignment. Bits are prone to wander when drilling into concrete. The bit is of poor quality and is now in our scrap metal bucket. Don't use it. Buy a 5/8" masonry from Milwaukee, DeWalt, etc. I also bought a 1/4" bit for a pilot hole with the hope that it would be easier to place the hole in the correct place. This was at best only partially successful, and the holes were not well aligned. Guessing the center by eye is also probably not the best strategy. Drawing a template with some graphics software would help you find the center, and perhaps a center punch would help you mark it. There is info online describing how to make drill guides, and they are worth a look. If you make one, make it large enough so you can kneel on it and hold it in place. Despite the difficulties, the shackle is firmly anchored, and it is unlikely any thief will detect any weakness great enough to exploit. Good luck.
