Perfect for kids, not for adults.
I bought this solely for its nostalgia value. I loved it as a kid, and I remember pouring hours into it and having a hard time completing it. It's an okay platformer, but it was definitely designed with kids in mind.
All the levels are short and linear, with extra challenges thrown in which you can warp to from the menu screen once you unlock them. Even though you can easily breeze through a level to get back to challenges once you know the layout, the warping is perfect for kids who are newer to platformers and don't want to redo tricky segments.
There are also no lives in this game. Once you run out of health, you will be spawned very close to where you died, which takes away almost any risk/reward for older players. But, if you're a kid with little patience and skill, this means that making progress is easier and less frustrating.
Overall, this game isn't meant for more experienced players. Though it's short length and forgiving gameplay make it perfect for kids without much experience with video games.
