Sturdy qwerty: LG Octane
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I am trying to avoid upgrading to a smartphone, yet I was texting on a non-qwerty cell phone that was ridiculous and time consuming. Since I don't need internet access on my phone yet, I decided a qwerty phone would work. However, they don't seem to be available from my friendly Verizon dealer any longer, thus to ebay I came.
The LG Octane is a sturdy, reliable cell phone with a flip up cover to reveal a well-sized keypad. All the features of the phone are easy to navigate. The colors and graphics on the two screens, interior and exterior, are bright and clear.
The LG Octane is easy to use, well made, and just the thing for those who want speedier texting, clear call quality, great battery life, and the joy of not paying for a smartphone month after month.

Happy to discover the original
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This novel is the source material for the 1947 classic film of the same name. It is a quiet story of a young woman's growth from dependent widow to self-reliant, self-directed individual.
Story-telling of this kind is certainly different than fiction of today, yet we can imagine Lucy Muir setting out to live at the seaside with her two young children against social and financial constraints not so different than those felt at any time by a woman alone.
The film script is outstanding (by Philip Dunne), but I recommend reading the original novel for a enjoyable experience that enhances enjoyment of the film.
