Attractive boxcar.

The car appearance is very nice and there appear to be no missing or broken parts. The couplers and trucks are standard, but I plan to upgrade them.

Nice version of an interesting car used on some roads...a grain loading high cube boxcar. This version has KDs and is in good shape

Good represenatation of an iconic ho boxcar, that can benefit from some upgrades.

This is a pretty standard Athearn HO boxcar with the old style couplers not Kadees or similar and mostly plastic trucks and fittings. They do have a wide range of railroads they model and do so with pretty good accuracy, eg. the doors do open. So, the product is acceptable for its purpose, looks nice on the road, but could be improved a lot by changing the couplers and trucks for better operation. Which is not hard. So, I'm not unhappy with it, and will add Kadees which cost about $4.30 for 2 pair. I continue to add Athearn products to my road.
