Ssd cloning
I would have liked to have seen information about using the intel disk cloning software that is available online. I tried a couple of software packages but cloning was not successful. I am thinking I may just do a fresh install of windows on this drive.

Solid state drive
After I had problems with my desktop pc hard drive I decided that a solid state drive might be worth investing in. So as prices have come down a good bit I bought one. This one came with a cd rom which would allow cloning of the existing windows operating system only it wouldn’t as it was only designed to work on windows 8 or below. It required a download of the latest software. That done the cloning went fairly well after I found I had to transfer media files to another drive. There were some initial problems booting up but when fixed the boot up times are a quarter of that previously seen.
