One of Ranger's best products
Alcohol ink mixatives when applied with other colors of inks using the alcohol ink blending tool creates a stunning background. Areas of copper or pearl add highlights without being overwhelming. The quality of Ranger products is consistently excellent.

The Perfect Solution
I bought this marker to add details and to outline stamped images. After stamping the image, I colored them in then, using the fine tip, I I outlined it, added details, and outlining them, I cut them out. As I use different products to color, I needed something that would not run. My Christmas cards are perfect.

A must-have for rubber stampers and other crafters
I love Rangers Adirondack alcohol inks. The colors in this set blend beautifully when applied to glossy cardstock using the Tim Holtz blending tool. I have many of the sets and find that using any three or four together on the applicator create spectacular results. I use the background for rubber stamping an image with archival ink or embossing with embossing powder, especially gold. I have used many colors of glossy cardstock in addition to the White. One of my favorites is copper although pastel colors also produce interesting backgrounds. If using darker colors, I add blending solution to the felt pad, but with the new pastel colors I prefer not to add blending solution. I layer the stamped background on colored cardstock then attach to the card. The combinations are endless. Tim Holtz offers several online videos demonstrating the techniques.
