Brilliant piece of kit!
It has taken me a few days to work up enough courage to tackle the fitting of the new head!
This is because its design is radically different from strimmer heads I have encountered in the past.
The package held very basic cartoon pictures of the contents and the fitting instructions... and as a communication from manufacturer to consumer - it left a lot to be desired!
However, if you know your strimmer well - it becomes pretty obvious, after a lot of thought and staring at the cartoons - which parts were going to go where, and which to use.
This morning I put the whole thing together - and it was ridiculously easy in the end! 10 mins later I had cleared a dense overgrown patch of bramble, thistle, nettle and dock - and the lines were only half used - this is without a doubt, an Absolutely Fabulous piece of kit for my strimmer. The Jet head has made a huge difference - after years of wrestling with spools and bump spools. I tried out both thicknesses of line and they were much longer lasting and more effectively cutting, than any of the lines for use with the conventional spools. The head deals efficiently with brushwood undergrowth as well as all the usual types of grass from lawn quality up to the ubiquitous Couch grass.
