The Weight of a Mass
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This book is a wonderful tale about the value a one Mass. A poor beggar woman wishes to offer a Mass for a wealthy baker in exchange for a few day old items. The baker refuses thinking he is getting a poor deal. Using a scale to compare the value of the Mass against the baked goods, the baker soon finds out that all the fancy baked goods in his bakery (including a royal wedding cake)are not worth a single Mass.
I own the book and had to have it for a First Communion gift for a family friend. It is a book whose message can be enjoyed by all ages, but it's target audience is about 5-10 years old. Ii will undoubtedly buy it again in the future for another gift.

Excellent piece of children's literature. A must have!
Great product! This book is a must have as a read aloud to children for all Christians. It tells of self sacrifice and the symbolism of Christ's death on the Cross for us is beautiful. This would make a great discussion starter for those teaching a children's religion class as well. In a home it would be read over and over as it has been in my home.

Better than Described
This was better than expected. The book looks new as though it has never even been opened. I’m thrilled as I had this but it was destroyed when we had a roof leak in our garage. I’m so pleased this was in perfect condition.
