Time Stands Still
This great little story, and its darling illustrations, are just as compelling as they were sixty-five years ago when I enjoyed it as a child. Excellent life lessons, and Mr. Bear gets his comeuppance without serious harm. Little animals quite different from each other work together to secure the neighborhood, and develop an excellent culture -- YES! They are singing my song!!!! Enjoy!!!

Turn the Radio Onnnnnnn!!
Heard about this book on Splendid Table, in the car on the way home from church!! Came home and got on eBay.... Bid on three different copies to try to win ONE, and got all three!! One copy has already become a treasured gift for someone who's impossible to buy for ---- SCORE!!! Second one is waiting for a similar home. And the third is mine-all-mine! It's like a Magic 8 Ball. There's an answer for everything!! And such good teaching. You are never too old to learn!!!!
