Wet clutch drum holder tool Ducati 848 Monster Multistrada Panigale 899 ST3

Just not strong enough for the job
The tool fits the 899 wet clutch boss. However, In simple terms, this item just isn’t good enough for the job. The 190Nm torque required on the clutch nut is way too much for the spanner to handle. There are only two screws holding the handle onto the ring. These sheared and also pulled the ring out of shape. The handle is soft aluminium and the ring is only marginally harder. Not sure if the ring is steel but it certainly wasn’t tough. I ended up making a tool myself out of aluminium plate and the remnants of the spanner.

Really good strong construction. Retaining strap also provided. Non slip surface for good traction into a vehicle or trailer. Rubber hooks on upper end. Grip surface on lower ramp foot. Folds in two. Lightweight. Easily carries its load rating

Foliatec striping - adhesive poor
I was looking forward to this being a good product. The applicator creates a really good circular stripe. However, the first 5cm and last 5cm just do not stick properly. In fact, the last 5cm had a problem with the adhesive coming away from the stripe, doubling over, making wrinkles and generally spoiling the application. Now, I guess you could try overlapping by 10cm but then you’d have to unpeel and restick by hand. Defeats the object really. In the end, I ordered some other brand tape for 2.99 and used the foliatec applicator.
