Good for IDE hard drives. . .but,
These work as hard drive interfaces, they did not work as an IDE CD-ROM interface.

Nice product
Thes are great if you need to get a little better case circulation. Also, very easy to cut down to cover the "odd" holes in the case where connectors were designed to go but you changed your mind. Tough, but easy to cut down to size.

North Bridge Cooling
Depending on how your motherboard/case is laid out this bracket will support two light weight fans suspended over the North bridge (nice in a AMD build). Also provides side flow to memory and the CPU (again in a AMD build, Gigabyte M'board).
