Better than expected

A lot of reviews on this say it's boring and light on action but I'm enjoying it. It feels a lot like Black Flag but there are several areas to sail to and extra things to do. Plus it fills in a lot of info that has been left out so far. For the price....buy it.

Pretty good for the price

I used to see these in the toy stores so when I needed a sword and breastplate for a costume for my 4 years old I was surprised to no longer find them. Enter good ole Ebay for the save. While I didn't use the shield or helmet I can say the helmet was too small for my 4 year old but the shield would have been fine. The breastplate has 2 straps that go from the top to plastic buckles on the bottom. The straps should cross in the back for a good fit but were too short so I trimmed them shorter and stitched a longer strap to all 4 points with plastic buckles in the middle. This made it much more adjustable. The only thing the sword needed was a trim where the belt goes through the scabbard to hold it but, as you might have guessed, I couldn't stop so I painted the sword anyway. All in all if it's just for basic dress up play it's fine and the price was great. If you're using it as part of a costume then there's some tweaks that it could use. I'd buy it again if I needed something like it.
