Just good enough.
An important work that would benefit greatly by being the size of the original. I appreciate that it exists at all, but with the trouble of reprinting and distribution, why not make it the ( near) equal of the original?

Informative and thorough exploration of pickup construction.
Pretty good overview of pickups, as well as detailed information on specific builders, including a few well done interviews. Book is marred by typos sprinkled throughout text on seemingly every page. I have 1st ed so that may have been corrected in later editions. Recommended even for those of us with a casual interest in this subject.
