Plastic lugs!!! R I serious?
When I saw the picture I imagined the black to be possibly steel, but oh no this upgraded pipe has a completely plastic end, bearing in mind the original has a albeit slightly thin metal end I struggled to understand how the plastic end would stand up any better. Nevertheless I fitted the part with A brand new retaining clip and the pipe has consistently blown off at 2.2 bar of pressure with less than 20 miles on the clock since fitting the part I have had to re-attach several times to the point that I have fitted the original hose with a missing lug and the old retaining clip… Sits at a bit of a funny angle but doesn't blow off. Make your own decision.

I suppose I might have been expecting to much for the price i paid but I think I should be able to expect that the press inserts might fit with some degree of accuracy. There is at least 0.5mm gap around the inserts allowing a significant amount of material to not be pressed and and the pressed cake is loose and crumbles around circumference. I made some better fitting inserts myself and it works much better.
