BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TO STIR UP THE EMOTIONS!
it simply doesn't get any better than this production of Phantom of the Opera. I absolutely love listening to this CD/soundtrack!

an excellent purchase - extremely interesting and educational production. i have recommended to friends - it is well narrated by alex baldwin and the overall experience of watching this was extremely enjoyable.

CLASSIC PERFORMANCES - BERNSTEIN'S AMERICA-COPLAND
I have to say i was very disappointed - i wanted a good instrumental - not vocal - of the music from West Side Story.
this is a collection - i think - of Berstein's "musical thoughts" put to musical score. it is "whatever" music with measure of West Side Story.
My search for instrumental only kept taking me to this cd eventually so i thought i was going to be save w/ this order.
i do have to start that search once again. i will say there are a couple of bonus theme songs/musical scores on the second cd - such as theme song from "Platoon".
otherwise, a disappointment.
