The Hakkenden taken from the manga of the same name, published in the Japanese magazine "NEWTYPE" in the 1990's, now a 13 episode OVA. Is a well thought out story from a time in feudal Japan.

Sanctuary a manga illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, and written by Sho Fumimura.

The collaboration of the well known Manga artistscript writter Yoshiyuki Okamura aka Buronson, aka Sho Fumimura, famously know for 'Hokuto no Ken' ( Fist of the North Star), and the Manga artist Ryoichi Ikegami Known in the West for ' Mai, the Psychic Girl' and ' Crying Freeman', a very crisp art style easily recognised. Having this great pedagogy from the late 80's fresh in a 90's Manga is not to be missed. Sanctuary is both a political thriller and crime story, as the two main protagonists hope to altar Japan – one though politics aiming at being the youngest in the ' House of Representatives' the true power behind the National Diet, while the other joined a Yakuza gang, Japan's organised crime, both are survivors of the Cambodian killing fields, and their survival instincts are matched by their aggressive tactics.
