GREAT SHOW WITH ALL THE LIVING MEMBERS PLUS
It's great to see this show with Dickey Betts and Gregg Allman smiling and Hi-Fiving each other. You read so much about how the animosity between them that I really enjoyed just seeing this good time singing and playing by all the guys. The new Percussionist fits right in with the two old drummers to create a swinging flow. The only thing I wish they hadn't done was cut to an interview during certain numbers. Even if what they had to say is interesting, they could have left that for the end of the concert. Like a special feature type thing.
But as a life long fan of the band in all they incarnations, I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD concert and will watch it again and again.
No complaints. I highly recommend it.

HE STILL GOT IT
Dickey Betts is one of the most gifted guitar players of our generation. His instrumentals are like symphonies for rock guitar lovers. All those shredders out there owe a big debt to this southern gentleman. Jessica, Elizabeth Reed, Southbound. All included here are masterpieces.
He's older here, time catches up with all of us, but he's still rocking.
This is a very good set. I recommend it to any fan of great guitar music.
God bless Dickey Betts and thank you for all your great music. Ramblin' Man and Blue sky are included here too. How can you go wrong? Any fan of the Allman brothes will love this.

FOR STEVE MORSE AND GUTIAR FANS
Steve morse played before joining Deep Purple then was with the iconic band for longer than the original co-founder, Ritchie Blackmore. With Deep Purple he helped the band continue the great music which fans of the band, like me, enjoyed for many more years. Songs like "Sometimes I feel like screaming" can stand up there with the other hits like "Perfect Strangers" and "Woman from Tokyo". This DVD shows Steve with other musicians as he works out on his instrument for the purpose of teaching would be guitar players how it's done. You don't have to play to be awed by his delivery. He's obviously a serious, dedicated music man and we are all lucky to have him.
Although no longer with the band Deep Purple, This video shows why the band picked him to replace the genious riff master Blackmore. If anyone wishes to see more of this great musician, they would really enjoy this dvd. I highly recommend it. Especially guitar players. This is as good as it gets.
