An incredible story wrapped around the Bible, fiction and history
This was not what I expected, but what a treat it turned out to be. I love how the author weaved fiction, born from truth, seamlessly, even though much of the content was harsh and gruesome (much like OT reads); I could not stop turning the pages! I always think a good read leaves me wishing there was more--and there is. But a good faith based read more importantly makes me want to search the Scriptures even harder. It makes so much more sense that mythological creatures from around the world got their origins from fallen angels of the Bible, and how Satan spins his own tales for his own purposes, among the world, always in an attempt to deceive and destroy.

Crucify sin to win the battle of none of these diseases
Who would have guessed that something first written in the 60/s reads like it was written just for our times! No preaching at you, here, only soft spoken and kindly delivered messages we all need to hear. Seriously, I could not put this book down. It has interesting historical information, lots of psychological insight, poignant personal stories, and great quotes from both secular and biblical sources. We seem to never learn because we never truly crucify our sinful nature, in order for the Holy Spirit to begin to heal these diseases from within. This book is "soft in your hands," feels good to the touch, and is a good font size, for easy on the eyes reading, which I also l appreciate. Love, Love, Love this book.

Great help for managing the expansive material covered in OT and NT
The author is so down to earth and makes easy reading of difficult and sometimes cumbersome or confusing, as well as copious amounts of material. The author provides clarity, insight, explanations, in a manner that is consumer friendly for the average person, relatable to all, and was extremely helpful as a snap shot of 4000 years of biblical history.
