Does what it sez on the tin...
We bought one of these from new and it worked fine for many years but just stopped recently (probably the PSU - now keeping it for spares) - I had researched numerous options for a cheap replacement and kept this on a search - when one came up I snapped it up - purely wanted this to record the numerous old tapes I have and not fussed about not having freeview when I have Sky anyway - I can still record off anything from that too...
Oh yes, records with every format - R-RW-plus-minus-RAM and plays CDR's and a bunch of other stuff...
