Great book
Loved it, couldn't put it down. Great characters, horses, Biscuit the donkey is SO cute. Good mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. Recommend it.

Great book.
Interesting book. Love the history the 30's, a time my parents and grandparents lived through, brought memories of the stories they told. Loved the parts about eary day short track match racing, the real horses and early QH breeders I grew up reading about, horses my horses trace back to, made it much more realistic to me. Everything is so well described, so detailed, you feel you are there.Great characters you care about. Really good book.

Great mystery.
Great book, good mystery that keeps you guessing and turning pages till the end. Rainy, the female horseshoer is a great character. Loved the horses and Charlie her dog is awesome. Really enjoyed it. The whole series is good.
