Good, readable, well organized, and clear information
I wasn't expecting a lot when I bought this book but I quickly discovered that it put information together in a way that I needed to be able to understand how to use my D5300 more effectively.
A lot of it was things I already knew but scattered throughout are nuggets that led me to solutions to problems that I could only have discovered accidentally in the Nikon Reference Manual. Nikon gives pure dry facts. This book leads me to ways of using the camera capabilities to take better photos.

Good but pebbled finish holds some foods
I was looking for a scoop like this for a variety of things but I was disappointed to discover it isn't a smooth casting. It has a surface that is lightly pebbled that grabs finer or damp materials and makes it hard to keep clean. You can't just wipe it off, you need to rinse it to well to get it clean.

Lettering too long for F-units.
The space between the front cab door and the rear side door on an HO F-unit is just under 3-3/4". The lettering in these sets is 4-1/4" long. It will work on E-unit but is just too large for F's.
