A delightful series that grows on you
'It is a fast paced story based on the writing of the youngest son Gerald Durrell of the families move to the Greek island of Corfu. It follows them in their life on the island. The the first season sees the family leave England and move to their new home on the island introducing you the people who will become a part of their story as we watch the the four Durrell children grow and their mother struggles to keep the family solvent and together. Each of the siblings will have their own struggles to find love. The story is told with humor as each of them struggles to find their way into adulthood . It is a an enjoyable series as one and I found myself looking forward to the escapades told with humor, exaggeration and whimsical at times.
