Chris Whitley - RIP - Still a talent...
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Forgot how much I loved this "Living With The Law" CD - which I lost over the years and recently replaced via eBay. Whitley was a hell of a singer/songwriter who died of lung cancer a few years back and never really got his due when he was around. Great CD - especially at a time when the music business sucks and the wrong kinds of artists are getting all the marketing dollars and promotion. Definitely worth checking out as Whitley obviously influenced several other singer/songwriters of this generation. This CD came out 17 years ago - and not only was it way ahead of it's time, but it's remained timeless and important nonetheless.

Good music exists; go out there and find it....
... the masses missed Jellyfish and this brilliant debut back in 1990. Toss bands like Queen, The Beatles, Beach Boys and other legends in a blender and you have this talented squad. Everyone can sing, harmonize and play their instruments—and the songwriting is second to none. Check the follow-up "Spilt Milk" as well.
