Wenge fretboard on upcoming custom handmade bass
Fretboard blank arrives in a condition ready to go right into the build. A nice piece of Wenge, good color, straight grain, not too porous, no visible cracks or defects.

They are crisp and tight, but not over-compressed sounding. Good sustain, and can drive the front of some tube amps without a boost pedal. Not insanely high output.
