Worth a try. Pity there isn't a more robust and longer version
This unit is not very robust but is OK if there will not be much in the way of movement, handling or water flow. More suited to aquaria.
Leads are not very long - approx 300mm.
Contacts are OPEN on high, CLOSE on LOW level.
Looks well sealed but do not use on high voltage in case the liquid level reaches the top. Only use on low voltage.
Two units have been installed in a surface water drain sump to activate a pump.
Worth a try. Pity there isn't a more robust and longer (600-800mm) version

Bright enough. Replaced a 15W filament bulb. Rather cool light.

Mounting
My original Samsung NP-X460 screen had four fixing tabs which are not present on the replacement. However the new screen is held in place by the screen surround. Double sided sticky could be used but was not used in my case.
