Very bright, even on low level. Was great in heavy fog at night recently with its centre focused beam.

A great deal on a top shelf product
I had been considering a "lesser" touch screen Etrex 35 or at the most, an Oregon 600 but Ray's came along with a fantastic deal on the top-of-the-range Oregon 650 which was too good to miss. I let my bush-walking/SES friends know but their procrastination meant they missed the deal. Now they are waiting for the next Ray's deal. I am very happy with my purchase!

Will do the job for now.
The ear pads are not anywhere near the quality of originals and the plastic moulding on one was badly cast (rough edges) so it does not quite snap onto the earphone evenly. The other one was cast smoothly and snapped on easily.
However they are on and doing the job and the misaligned one does not seem in any chance of coming off easily.
I also noticed the padding is not completely glued on, on one of them.
They are cheap but functional and do the job.
