I am a glass lover, especially the depression era, although some of my collections are mid century modern. I have about 11,000 pieces of Depression and Mid Century Modern glass on display in my home which includes 14 sets of basic DG and much of Cambridge, Heisey, Fostoria, Morgantown and Imperial. I also collect American Flyer & Lionel trains and love doing repairs on them. I started collecting glass back in 1987 at the International Depression Glass Club show in Sacramento helping a dealer set up his sales table. I learned a lot handling the glass and by 1996 was doing displays all over the United States for the National Depression Glass Association. (33 of them) Subsequently I became President of the IDGC and Vice President and Show Chairman of the NDGA in 2007. I have retired from both those organizations after much study, lecture and learning about glass. We can never know it all and I appreciate hearing from buyers that ask questions about trains and glass.

A real puller
Lionel had their motors wound by General Electric and they will never be equaled. Verticle motor by MPC or later a "can" motor is junk. MPC was white on top. The old GE was dark brown.

Accurate
Not much to say. They work on the flat car inserts. A+A+A+

Weak magnet in cheap plastic
It is a cheap piece of plastic that has a tiny ineffective, weak magnet in it that does not hold very well.
