Good for watercolor hobbyist and student
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich If you are just learning about watercolor or just painting for fun, this is a great set to get. It's compact size allow you to fit into your pocket, allowing you to paint wherever you are..
It come with a pretty good selection of colors, including both warm and cool colors of the primary, the green and earth tone. it also come with yellow ochre and chinese white. White watercolor while consider as being useless in watercolor, it serve an importance color for beginner and student.. adding highlight. It can also be use to create smoky effect like cloud, smoke or mist which usually is done by a technique call "lifting" which again for beginner and student might be a bit difficult to do.
the downside is, the brush is pretty terrible. It's small, short and cant hold a point. So it's not very useful, but it is a watercolor brush, so it's good for beginner as you dont need to get any additional brush until you have more experience.
Overall, it's a pretty good set for people who is either a student who just learning watercolor or a hobbyist who doesnt want to spend too much but still get the joy of painting with watercolor.
PS: Attach here is some drawing done with this watercolor set on a 200 GSM mix media paper, as you can see, the watercolors perform well even on a non watercolor paper.
