Mac Users Stay Away
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich While technically this works for Mac if you find and download the correct version of Audacity, it is so complicated (unusual for Mac software) that it is not worth the time and effort. I even tried to find other software that accomplishes the same thing but could not. I don't know if it is easier for Windows users or not. I do know that the instructions that come with the device are short and simple and assume you are using Windows. It is not easy at all, and I am still not certain how to do it. Since I am desperate to get my tapes onto my computer, I am not giving up just yet. And I have gotten some tech support from Apple Communities and am hoping that will resolve my issues. Just don't go into this lightly if you are not conversant in music software. The only good thing I can is that at least the device has not broken yet, as it has for some reviewers.

Does not work
This product is supposed to increase the calcium hardness of pool water. I had the calcium tested at a pool store before I added it; it was 200ppm. Over the course of the next week, I added all 25 lbs of this product and tested the water again at the same store. It was still 200ppm. It should have been close to 300 ppm. So this product made no change at all. They asked me where I got it, and when I told them, they suggested that people selling on eBay can just as easily put powder in a bag and charge you for calcium. I have heard and read this type of critique before, especially with regard to pool equipment, which is why the warranty is often not given when you buy equipment online. I cannot very well return this product since it no longer exists, but I feel cheated AND I ordered another 25 lbs of it before doing the second test! I feel as though my money should be returned. The pool people could not think of any other reason this happened and we spent a lot of time discussing it. You would think that calcium chloride is calcium chloride, period. But apparently not.

Too early to really tell
I just bought these upon the recommendation of someone whom I trust, and he said CREE was the best brand. The only thing really relevant to a review like this is how long the bulb lasts, and since this is my first purchase of CREE, I cannot speak to that. I will say that it did not go on in the first socket I put it into, so I took the other bulb in the fixture, changed it to the socket in question, and it worked. So I was puzzled and on a whim I tried the CREE bulb in the second socket, and it worked there. I don't know what to make of that since it doesn't appear that there is a problem with the socket that was empty.
I like that the bulb does not contain mercury since I use a lot of them outdoors in high places, and there is always the danger of dropping it.
