Top of the line product
Really great product, got sick of the Velox cloth tape shifting around and the sharp edges cutting tubes. These conti strips fit my mavic open elite rims perfectly. However, mounting them requires a bit of a trick. You need to use an old Presta valve to hold the presta tube hole in place with the presta hole of the strip. Next you need to pull on the strip from both directions when inserting around the rim so that the strip is tight and won't allow for it to shift from the valve hole. Lastly, I used sheer muscle strength to pull the last foot of strip over the rim - but it is possible for it to fold on itself or not sit evenly so you really need to caress that last foot of strip into position. If your mounting fails remove and dispose of strip by sliding a screwdriver where the rim strip meets itself to break the bond, do not try to use a screwdriver to stretch it out from the rim from underneath it, you will just scratch or bend your rim. Be patient when doing this and it may require you to buy a few more strips because it is difficult to get these on but worth it.

Excellent
Just what you find on a new bike, excellent replacement and worth the investment, you don't want the chain to chip your chainstay paint... Has the right thickness, not too thin and not too thick. Consider it something you would put on with an ultegra group set.

No Need For a High priced Park Tool Setup, This Works!
Skeptical at first, considered park tool but It worked on the first try on a 24 year old bike frame, FITS VERY WELL into the Teeth of the Bottom Bracket, Even if Your Bottom Bracket is really stuck I suggest this product First than Using a heavy duty removal method, you don't want to strip the threads in your frame. Always remember safety comes first, and also be patient when working on your bike.
