This book should have wide appeal to people outside those with a specific interest in de Havilland Chipmunk aircraft. The epic journey would have appeal to those with an interest in geography. There are many beautiful photographs of both the terrain and the aircraft. It also give an insight into the evolving East West relations of the time.

I like the use of a natural material.
This black band converts my sports watch from a trendy item to a smart dress watch. I chose to replace the colourful synthetic band to a leather item because I tended to get an adverse reaction to the synthetic material. Also the synthetic bands tended to stretch over time and come undone risking loss of the watch. The keeper loops would tend to fall off as well..
Leather looks good, feels good and it works.
