Classroom use
I like to have these handy for my high school juniors and seniors -- I teach long workstation-based sessions, and sometimes we need to get up and move around. I was surprised at the quality of these and how accurate the colors are -- in these bright colors, they're fun to pull out, and I get the reaction I was looking for.

Beefy sound, easy to mount
I was looking for a more solid-sounding block (I have one that's a little chirpy for me), and this one is precisely what I wanted: somewhere between a larger, old-school wood block sound and certain aspects of a rich, deeper rimshot.
