Well made little super wide angle lens for the money
Thus far, I've really been impressed with this little lens. It has the widest field of view of most anything available for my Leica screw-mount cameras, and with an adapter, it makes a great landscape lens for my Ricoh GXR. It is not rangefinder coupled and manual focus only, which may seem cumbersome, so the user has to use scale focusing for their film camera and focus-assist through a viewfinder on their digital camera. Also, most users should be aware that some cropping will occur on most digital cameras that are not full frame (x1.5 on an APS & x2 on Micro 4/3 sensors). So that effectively reduces the super-wide aspect considerably. Unlike a fish-eye lens, the images have relatively low distortion, which makes this a great lens for architecture and landscapes. Also, the lens doesn't focus really close up (.3 meter). Still, the lens is fun to use, well-built, compact and yields super sharp resolution for the money. In summary:
The Pros
Small, well-constructed, low distortion super wide angle
Works well on both film and most digital applications (with adapters)
Short focusing movement, super sharp for the price
The Cons
No rangefinder coupling for your screw-mount cameras, manual focus only
At f4.5, not terribly fast in low light situations

Good Workmanship
This neck is now part of a beautiful build using an older vintage pot. I had to bore into the end to install a tailstick, but it went smoothly. The carving and inlays are beautiful. The neck was very straight and frets were level. There was a tiny hairline crack in the fretboard, but that doesn’t seem to effect the playing.

Great pin bridge for old parlor guitars
A good reproduction bridge for parlor guitars from the turn of the century. I wish they weren’t spray varnished, would rather have them natural rosewood
