Makes the Bible Easy to understand.
This bible is solidly constructed. It compares the New International Version, a popular modern translation, with the Amplified Bible, which draws out nuances from words of the original languages. This Bible makes the Scriptures easier to understand.

Both scholarly and easy to read.
Dr. Bruce Metzger is a famous bible scholar and translator. He was a much loved professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. Metzger knows the history and culture of the first century A.D., which allows him to write a very reasonable, scholarly and accurate exposition of what the author, who was identified as John, meant to convey when he wrote the book of Revelation. Yet Dr. Metzger's humble and homey style book is easy to read. The book is 106 pages long.

Accurate and easily accessible 4 hour program on money
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This Ascent of Money series was copyrighted in 2009, just after the beginning of the Great Recession. Unfortunately, economic conditions have not appreciably changed, so the information in these videos is very current.
The economics Niall Ferguson presents in this video with a slight British accent are sound. The pictures are captivating. This is a pleasant explanation of financial markets and the fluctuations in those markets.
Some of the imagery in this series is shared with another video "Ascent of Money" Boom or Bust." While there is some overlap in content between the two videos, the script is different. "Boom or Bust" is shorter and focuses more on fluctuations. "Boom or Bust" is also informative and enjoyable. They are both worth having in your personal library.
