Fantastic sound.
Lynne's new versions with the BBC Concert Orchestra taking the place of the original two cellos and one violin are remarkable. This live concert recording from Hyde park has studio sound quality.

Rathbone as Holmes
When television was new in the 1950's, a lot of air time was spent showing old movies. As a kid, I loved them all, but I have always had a special place in my heart for the old "B movie" mysteries. Basel Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes has always been my favorite. This collection cannot be improved upon. The first two movies are excellent quality copies of the originals. The other twelve were skillfully remastered by the best in the business. The quality of all fourteen films is flawless. Any Holmes fan who hasn't had the pleasure of seeing Rathbone play the part will surely be impressed.

A very nice addition to a period diorama
It's difficult to find ready built HO autos of decent quality. The Athearn line of Model A's is beautiful. With one exception. Their treatment of the wheels. The rims, spokes, break drums, and hubs (in otherwords the whole wheel) should be a lighter color, with the spaces between the spokes in black (if there can't be real spaces). The white spaces that Athearn chooses to put on dark colored cars is hideous. It takes the vehicle out of the model world and into the toy world. I had to immediately paint mine.
