Short and enlightening
This book has the most interesting account and information on the visionary experience I have ever come upon. It's first part really hits the nail on the head with something people usually have no way of describing or even comprehending. And the arguments raised and history traced in the second part really shine a light on man's want for altered states and the need for psychedelics in western society.
