Easy to use.

Works and sounds great, quick east set-up and easy to use. I haven't tried with regular reeds but works good with a Slemer C* and Legere reed. Over all, nice bang for the buck. I've been a player for 33yrs, mostly bass. I use the same set up. However, Many pro's will recommend their preference but I say try them all and decide for yourself. I personally like this set-up, it works great for me.

Best bang for your buck!

Very versatile, a must have for all players! *Make sure you get the correct strength. It's true to the number. Easy to trim with trimmer or by hand file(not recommended for beginners). Just make sure you buy one for every mouthpiece setup i.e. jazz, ensemble, chamber and classical. You will be amazed with its performance and durability. I highly recommend the Selmer C*/ Vandoren B45 with 2.5 and a 3.0 with the HS*. You will be so happy with the tone, volume and east of articulation you just can't achieve with any standard reed... did I mention durability? (Just to mention our Primary Bassoon player is impressed with his as well Quality you can count on whether it's a single or double reed you need.) I just wished they made one for the Alto Clarinet(HINT-HINT). Best Wishes, Carl

Good deal for the $

A few repeats on both cards. But still worth the money. Also works great with the 60 pin to 72 pin adapter.
