Good battery, or not?
It is not clear to me that the battery I received is functioning, or not. My old battery was four years old, and probably was worn out. The phone would not turn on. However, the new battery also does not appear to be working. I attempted to charge it repeatedly, and it may have charged (warmed slightly), but it too does not turn on the phone. It is unclear what is wrong. Prior to the old battery probably failing, the phone had worked flawlessly throughout its life, but had not been used in about a year. I decided to turn it on in order to retrieve some photos and text messages.
At this point in the Lumia 822 lifespan, it is questionable to me that a truly new battery was available to be shipped. So, what did I get? It's a guess at best. It might be that something happened to the phone.
