Excellent account of one of the more infamous moral and ethical lapses in American clinical research. Should be required reading in medical and graduate schools.

Looking into Louisiana's Soul

This book captures the ethereal beauty of the Manchac perfectly and inspires with images of the magnificent LIFE that abounds there.
The introduction is an entertaining and informative essay that gives the reader a good appreciation of the few people of the Manchac and their deep ties to this mysterious land. The body of the book is a master gallery of photographs any artist would be honored to have shot. Every frame shown is a jewel of colors and composition.
How much do I love this book? I am going to the Manchac this month to see if I too can look into Louisiana's soul.
