Restless Natives (DVD)
I remember watching this many years ago and enjoying it at the time. Watching it now it's amazing how much has changed in the decade or so thats past since then. Still a great film to watch. Amazing how much better it looks now it's on DVD. Colours so sharp and picture quality so good it makes the breath taking scenery all the more enjoyable. Yes the acting is a bit hammy at times but it's a fun film and I'm sure that's the way it's intended. The soundtrack is great as well. I wish I'd bought the DVD years ago.

Definitely not a feel good film but does get you thinking about things.
Bought this as was recommended. We thought it was really thought provocating. It won't be everyones cup of tea due to the subject matter but if you have teenagers watch this film as it may make you double check they are being safe when online. Society has changed so much and this film perhaps shows even us parents who think they are up to date just how much things have changed and how easy a scarey situation can happen to even the nicest and street smart kids. We normally sell our DVD's on after watching but this will be a keeper to use as an educational tool on our girls when they get a bit older. Clive Owen is excelent as usual and you cannot help but feel for his character. It's well directed and give Schwimmer his due it's so far removed from Ross in friends and can't have been the easiest of films to make or indeed fund. The young actress who plays the girl in this film is also one to watch for the future as she is so believable in her performance. Definitely not a feel good movie but it does get you thinking, well done Mr Schwimmer for putting this out. ter
