So far so good

The part was very easy to install, even though there are no directions provided and currently is working fine. A UTUBE video explains it all. Be sure to remove the grommets from the old lines that insulate them from the hole that they go through inside the refrigerator. I rated it a 3 only because I cannot say that it is 'better than expected' as it has terrible reviews because the part seams, over time, appear to fail - time will tell. The seams on the water tank that I replaced had failed and I had a slight flood inside the ref., however, it was the original 17 year old tank. There is no other replacement for this OEM part available.

Time will tell

The product installs as easy as an OEM filter. Only time will tell if it last as long as the OEM filter - but it was half the price. I gave it 4 stars only because I do not know the longevity.
