Follow the instructions closely and you should get a long lasting repair

I used the plastic container from the kit to hold and mix the epoxy. Takes a long time to set, which allows the epoxy to seep around the handle filling all the empty spaces. Be sure to use the putty to seal the lower opening of the tool head, or you'll have leaks. I used BBs to fill the large gaps at the top on the handle, so it took only about half the contents to reattach a sledge head.

Great value, but don't expect it to run out of the box

Had to re-tap the mounting hole to 1/4-20 from metric, but had expected that. Cranked right up when installed, but would only run a couple of minutes before quitting. Able to restart immediately, but still only ran a couple of minutes. Checked the fuel tank and lines for restrictions and found none. Disassembled the carb and found the float level was off, starving the engine. Reset the float level, but evidently I over-corrected and the carb leaked fuel. Reset the float level again, and it seems to run fine now and does not leak. One improvement over the original carb was the emulsion tube has a rubber seal on the flange where it mates to the carb, which has been a known source of leaks on the original design. Costs less than the rebuild kit I had tried on the original carb, but be prepared to make some adjustments to dial it in before it will run.
