Good lens, but OS stopped working
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this lens used on eBay on March 19th, 2015. When I got it, it worked like brand new. I"ve taken very good care of it, although it has been my everyday lens. The OS stopped working about a year ago, not long after I got it, but also, the tabs that "lock" the lens hood on wore out, and not the ones on the hood, the ones on the lens barrel. It's a $220.00 repair on a $369.00 lens, plus the tech at Sigma was quite smug, making sure he got his dig in that "with proper care, lenses can last 20 years or better." No S**T?! I've got cheaper lenses that are 20+ years old and the lens hood still snaps on like the day I bought them! This lens takes really nice pictures, but the build is cheap. I suppose that's why Sigma lowered the price from $669 to $339, you get what you pay for right? If you can hold out a bit, save some money, I'd buy Tamron and/or Nikon lenses. Plus the customer service tech was a bit condescending, and that's more frustrating than the lens being of inferior quality to others.

Breaking Away-What a movie. If you ride. "Buongiorno"
If you're a cyclist, this is a must own movie. It's corny as all get up, but well worth $10-$15 if you can find it at those prices. Dennis Quaid is in his prime. Ladies, you'll know what I mean when you see it. The cycling is so-so and so is the acting, but it's a cycling cult classic. It kind of reminds me of a porn, but instead of sex scenes, it has cycling scenes and in place of cheesy "boun-chicka-boun" music, it has italian classical music. If you purchase this movie, don't ask for a refund. See it, and you'll know what I mean.

No more broken glasses in the sink, this thing works great. The suction cups hold steady and strong!
