Nikkor 24mm f2....Small, Fast and Sharp!

This used to be Nikon's fastest 24mm until the new 24mm AFS G f1.4 arrived. I like that it is reasonably small and compact. Built like a tank! As were all the manual Ais lenses. It looks tack sharp at f2. Bokeh isnt as nice as the new f1.4. But we are looking at a cost difference of some $2000! It tends to flare easily so take care to shade it. I especially ordered the dedicated HK-2 hood for this.
