STAR WARS - Emperor Palpatine 1/10 Scale Statue - Iron Studios - IN STOCK!

Highly detailed and full of character

I've been kicking myself for missing out on previous Emperor Palpatine statues like the Attakus and Sideshow releases, but now I'm glad i did, because i think Iron Studios has done the best job of capturing the likeness of this character. There is amazing texture in the robes and flawless paint throughout. I believe the statue is entirely polystone except for the rubber tabards that lay in his lap. The face is perhaps a degree off, but i think it's closer than other statues. He's in a nice pose, leaning forward with his hand on Luke's lightsaber, as if captured during a sinister taunt. Be mindful when placing the statue on its base. The throne has a metal pin that inserts and could scratch the base, but then it's almost entirely covered by the statue anyway. At 1/10 scale it fits with plastic Kotobukiya statues, and actually fits well enough with 6" figures like Star Wars Black and S.H. Figuarts. Overall I'm very pleased with it and recommend it for other fans of the galaxy's greatest villain.

Great condition but doesn't fit cases

Excellent condition, even original box. However, i didn't realize it only fits bare tapes. It won't fit cassettes in their protective cases.
