Good for overweight persons ... and great for everyone else ... LOL ...

This ladder is great for heavier people, which I am one of. The steps are not ridged like a lot of them are, so it doesn't hurt your feet getting in and out. The rails are a "little bit" flimsy for getting out, but not enough to worry about. The main trick is getting the ladder to stay down in the pool and not float. It says to use 2 sand bags, but I didn't relish the idea of putting sand in my pool. Then it says to fill the steps with the pool water, which I thought was the better idea. However, upon doing that, it still wanted to float. So, we bought 2 five-gallon buckets with lids from Home Depot, filled them with gravel, put the lid on, and sat them on the back rail of the steps. That worked. So now I have great steps that don't want to float any more. I definitely recommend these steps for anyone who is overweight, has an above ground pool with a deck to attach it to, and want an easier way in and out, vs ladder steps. :)
